How to lock your Computer using mouse click

In this post, i want to tell that how you can lock your computer using mouse click. This is very useful tip, you can easily lock your computer with a single mouse click.

Follow these steps to lock your Computer with a single mouse click.
  • First of all Right click on your Desktop.
  • Go to the 'New' option and select 'Shortcut'.
                         
  • A small window opens, in the 'type the location of the item' option you can type this
        rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation
                 
  • Click on 'Next'
  • Then type any name in the 'Type a name for this shortcut' option.
                 
  • Then click Finish.
  • Now you can lock your Computer by open this icon.

How to lock My Computer

In this post, i want to tell you how can you lock My Computer. Using this tip, the user cannot open the My Computer from desktop or anywhere. This is very useful tip if you want to lock 'My Computer'. The users cannot open the My Computer even using any shortcut key.

Follow these simple steps to lock 'My Computer'
  • First of all open 'Run' from Start Menu.
  • Type Regedit and press 'Enter' or 'Ok' button.
                   lock My Computer
  • Click on the first option named 'HKEY_CLASS_ROOT'

  • then find 'Folder' option and then click on it.
  • then find 'shell' and renamed shell as ex:shell and then press Enter key.

  • Now the 'My Computer' is locked and it will cannot open.

How to rename multiple files at once

Follow these steps to Rename multiple files at once.
  • Open folder which contains files that you want to Rename. 
  • Select the files you want to rename.If the files you want are not adjacent in the file list, press and hold CTR and then click each item to select it.. 
  • On the File menu, click Rename. 
  • Type the new name and press Enter. 
  • All the files in the series will be named in sequence using the new name you type.
